It's no surprise men love women who play hard to get so we were shocked (and somewhat pleased) to read results of recent research that suggest women are more attracted to men that play hard ball in the mating game.
OK, so when you think 'geek' you think Hawaiian-shirt wearing, bespectacled, game-droid guys like those out ofRevenge of the Nerds. And by all means- we're not saying that women find this look attractive. What we are saying is that women find it endearing when we show those awkward idiosyncrasies: "My boyfriend frequently wakes himself up by singing….. I find that cute," says Manisha, 26.
We like to believe we’re the superior gender and, most of the time, we (think we) are. However, what women find a turn on is not our omniscience but our (rare) vulnerability when we admit we just don't know it all. Ladies love it when we ask them to impart their knowledge or show us how to do something.
It's no surprise that women swoon over the stereotypical 'handy man' man and to be frank, most of us sit in front of the computer all day and lack their adroit skill and physique. BUT, thankfully for all us office-dwellers, as long as we have marks like blemishes, scars and calluses, women see this as proof that we've endured manly pain and get aroused by that — it heightens the feeling of being protected. So, next time you hit the gym, leave those gloves behind and be a man.
1. Body odour
I know what you are thinking, but this is not that exactly. There is a fine line that men have to toe when it comes to body odour(natural smell). Unfortunately, some of us lose our footing and land head first into either the cologne-OD side or the BO-bomb side. But, if we're brilliantly balanced, our natural fumes can make ladies sexually aroused.
Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, discovered that a compound found in male sweat can cause a number of emotional and physiological changes in women. The male underarm odour, for example, activates certain brain areas, improving woman's mood and increasing sexual arousal.
