Lawmaker Victoria Nyeche expresses shock at INEC's declaration of result in favour of PDP after elections were declared inconclusive in PHALGA Constituency 1
APC House of Assembly Candidate for Port Harcourt Constituency 1 Victoria Nyeche has expressed shock that after the Returning Officer for the Constituency Otu Ekpeyong had declared results for her constituency inclusive at the collation center, the State INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Gesila Khan went ahead to declare results in favour of the PDP.
Ms. Nyeche said she was also surprised that INEC announced results that were far different from what was announced at collation center on the election day and called on the electoral umpire to do the right thing.
APC House of Assembly Candidate for Port Harcourt Constituency 1 alleged that she was leading in all 6 out of the 7 wards in the Constituency before the Returning Officer declared the polls inclusive.
Victoria Nyeche who is also a lawmaker alleged that the State INEC REC acted against the electoral act to have announced results for an election that was declared inclusive at the Collation Center.
